Guided tour Saint Verhaegen - weKONEKT.week 2023

Deze wandeling gaat door in het kader van de weKONEKT.week en zal dan ook in het Engels plaatsvinden.

Each year on 20 November VUB and ULB celebrate their founder, Pierre-Théodore Verhaegen (1796-1862). This event includes a student celebration across the Brussels city centre. It has taken place in different shapes since 1888 and has become known as ‘St V’ or ‘Saint-Vé’. Discover the hotspots and background of this highlight in Brussels student life, with CAVA, the VUB’s cultural heritage center.

The guided heritage walk will begin at the fountain of Minerva located on the Grand Sablon Square.
